One Bread, One Body
Fr. Samuel Ameh was born in Owukpa, Benue State Nigeria to Simon and Janet Ameh, and became a member of the Via Christi Society which was founded by Fr. Angus Fras.r Cssp., and he was admitted to Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Makurdi Benue State Nigeria.
He made his perpetual commitment on November 5, 2016, ordained a deacon November 6, 2016, and was ordained a Catholic priest on July 22, 2017 for the Via Christi Society By Bishop Wilfred Anagbe at The Cathedral of our Lady of Perpetual Help in Makurdi Nigeria.
He was assigned on mission to the Catholic Diocese of Lafia where he worked at Saint Dominic Catholic Church Aso-Pada Mararaba Nasarawa State Nigeria and Saint Sylvester Catholic Church New Nyanya Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
Thereafter, he was sent on a mission to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA.
While in the Diocese of Las Cruces, he was posted first to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Roswell as Parochial Vicar from September 20, 2019 through March 16, 2020.
On March 16, 2020 I moved to Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church here in Lovington where I reside as Parish Administrator.
